Welcome Cruise North West is a partnership between Derry City Council and Londonderry Port. Formed in 1994 as the Londonderry Cruise Initiative, it was set up to promote the city and the North West cross border region as a destination for the international cruise liner industry. Today, Cruise North West has taken on a wider marine tourism role and aims to promote Derry and the Foyle as a destination for cruise liners, marine leisure users and to host maritime events.
