HALF DAY OPTIONS: Walking Tour of the City of Derry Derry's impressive fortifications measure over a mile in circumference and look much as they did durng the city's Great Siege of 1689. Traffic-free it offers visitors the freedom of exploring the city from these sturdy walls which offer different views of Derry's rejuvenated city centre. Included among the many fine buildings which you can visit while touring the city are St Columb's Cathredral (1633) and the neo-Gothic Guildhall (1890).
